It fits. It makes sense. I think it's what my doctor was telling me when she said I "could have" had a hemorrhage and because I had no early ultrasound they didn't know. At a gut level, I just know this was it.
So, 1.3% of pregnancies... and on top of that, only 9.3% of those with a SCH in first tri have a "spontaneous abortion." Wow, lucky me. I should seriously start playing the lottery.
Some sources I've found say this is random and rare. Others, more frighteningly, say it may be linked to auto-immune or clotting disorders. I can only hope this does not happen again, but if it does, I will have them running every test in the book on me.
