Roughly 20% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, stillbirth, or late loss. Almost 30,000 infants die in the US every year, about a third due to preterm birth. We lost Baby Wednesday on January 3rd, 2009 at about nine and a half weeks gestation. He or she will always be our first baby and will never be forgotten.
