Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today is Mr. Ibis's and my second wedding anniversary. Two years ago we went back East to get married. It was a beautiful, warm fall day and we had so much fun. We honeymooned in Newport, stayed at a romantic little B&B and spent three days being lazy tourists.

Last year for our first anniversary we took a little trip to a Nebraska B&B and had a lovely weekend. We had decided to wait for one year of marriage before trying for a baby, so that was our last hurrah as a twosome before TTC.

We have been together for over six years now and I can honestly say that I love Mr. I more every year that we're together. I think we have both become better people - or maybe it's more apt to say, more fully ourselves - since we met. He has given me the unconditional love and safe space to be myself and I hope he can say the same of me.

In three months we will take on new challenges and new roles and I know this will be another opportunity for us to grow together.
